ZKLEducationalFoundationbannerIn 1995, the ZKL Educational Foundation was formed so that the group’s fundraising, philanthropic efforts, and awarding of college scholarships could be better supported and sustained through the establishment of a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization {42-1408585}. Providing college scholarships was one of the first community-support activities that ZKL Educational Foundation provided which remains as its main philanthropic endeavor today. Initially, the scholarships were awarded to undergraduates at Drake University, the University of Iowa, and Iowa State University. Today, scholarships are awarded to ethnically diverse students from the Greater Des Moines area attending any accredited college or university.
